There are many versions of the sculptural Tabouret Curule. Some were covered with geometrical elements such as an oval base and different sized legs. This stool by Parisian furniture designer Jules-Emile Leleu has recently become more popular for designers, most notably a version being featured on the March 2011 cover of Elle Decor and being a highly sought after piece at a Christie’s auction.
