Pictured is a teak art deco coffee table created as part of a pair of tables for a client on Park Ave. The client had a rectangular side table in the same style and he wanted to create two matching coffee tables to have a set. The table features a clear high gloss lacquer finish and measures 36 inches wide x 36 inches deep x 20 inches tall. Teak is one of the more expensive woods utilized in creating furniture and is generally not used frequently. It is a very durable and elegant wood and match other furniture nicely in eclectic spaces.
Pictured are a pair of Andre Arbus inspired lounge chairs. Arbus’ furniture design is linear, classical, and functional. These Art Deco inspired chairs are an excellent example of clean, original style many of our clients in and around the tri state area are looking for. Something timeless and elegant, that they be able to pass on to future generations. For this pair of lounge chairs, the client provided us with a picture of what they found few months ago but had been sold. They were completely in love with the chairs and wanted a custom set designed with a different fabric. We recreated these lounge chairs with the same finish and fabric as the one in the picture provided by the client.
Black lacquer Art Deco tables are increasingly popular and often are incorporated in New York City homes due to the great influence of the Art Deco style.
