Pictured is a pair of Federal style armchairs in a client’s living room. For this project we were provided with one of the chairs and asked to create an identical chair to complement the existing chair and create balance in the room. Usually in order to be able to create an exact match the existing chair will need some level of refinishing.

mid century modern lounge chair by Kerstin HorlinThe mid century chair to the left is an original design by Kerstin Horlin Holmquist that was repaired, restored and reupholstered. The chair on the right is a reproduction that was upholstered with the same fabric as the original. Often these lounge chairs are sold as a single piece, but to create balance a second matching chair is ideal. We specialize in creating museum quality reproductions of any historical style.
